Huh... This begs the question - Can we purchase those Nismo fender flares?

They are not the same as those I have seen from Nismo - i.e. the rear wheel
arches. They look very similar to the ASM product on jsyang's white Z...

so.. how much? the asm's are roughly $800 retail (which is wayyyy too much).

Do you think the Nismo branded version will be a more reasonable price?

I've not seen the exact fender flares for sale, but I would imagine them to be quite pricey. The only difference I can spot between the ASM kit and what comes on the JDM Nismo's is they are all 2-piece so that the bumper is still removable without removing the entire flare from the fenders. So, you could just get the ASM, cut them at the seam for the bumpers and go.

There was a limited edition model in Japan called the (I believe) Version F that had the red steering wheel, shift ****, and handbrake from the 380RS along with red leather seats and door inserts (basically a Grand Touring with red interior) that also had the fender flares on it, so I would imagine you could get the flares w/o a Japanese Nismo or 380RS VIN.

You could probably try to get ahold of the guys at Performance Nissan or Z-1 and they might be able to fill you in a bit more.

^ Please continue as I don't think you're correct. Shine has duped a fender
flare, but I do not believe it is the same as those shown. Supply a link!

^You're welcome to do a search, but they previously offered the older style Nismo flares in FRP and carbon.

Don't know if it's still offered or the exact same style. Similar style definitely.

edit: they may have only offered the flares for the rear.
