Has anyone had to buy/replace the serial number console plate for the nismo yet?

I noticed that my stereo installer scratched mine up a bit.

I want a new one. I wonder if also, have to order the entire console piece.

Ideas?

I looked on courtesy parts, but there is not anything nismo specific... and the body console (Part 96911) is $248! ouch.

 

I can't remember how much the dealership I bought my car from said it was but they scratched mine before I bought it but I know they are not incredibly buyer friendly but they are special order at the dealership!

 

you have to get your dealership to remove it, and send it to Autech in Japan.
They will make you a new one, and ship it back to your dealership.
There was a thread on this a while back, you should be able to dig it up.
So rest assured that it can be replaced.

Since your installer is the one who scratched it, you should make them pay for it.

 

That's what I would ask for...

 

Yeah check my thread, the dealer is the only one who can order it for you, they need to verify vin#'s, serial #'s and other nismo specific info.
