Nice looking Nismo :-)..I was a bit excited when I saw the title of your post.

The r-title hurts the resale value a ton. Not that the car is not in perfect condtion(now)..
if there is nothing wrong with the car, just keep it..build a few years of good history with the car then sell it.. This will prove to the new owner that the r-title means nothing. A car this new to have a r-title will scare many a potential buyer..

just my 2cents.

Keep it, enjoy it..its a great looking car..

Its reconstructed titled now not salvage.. (salvage cant be driven on streets) Its definitly worth over 15k though. I perfer a DE car not a HR for ease of modding and i would rather tt a DE since i have all the parts to build a good bottomend (left overs from my 240sx vq35).

Not if current NISMOS are selling used with a good title for 22-24k. Yours is not worth over 15k period.

On this forum people have said it, craigs list,, etc. I have seen a few go this low.

I only got offered 22k from a Nissan dealer here for mine. So you figure it out.

Absolutely agree. I think $20k is a stretch. I think you'd be lucky to get $15-18k. My local dealership was selling a NEW 08' NISMO for $25k plus taxes and fees. This is not hearsay, I was there when they made the offer to me - no trade-in - instead of me getting a Z34. Your car has miles, but worse yet, the r-title. This is not good for re-sale unfortunately. You are going to take it in the a*s to sell it, might as well mod and enjoy it.

Looks like you already have a G35?

Its not really about whether its worth over 15k or not. The problem is that no bank will finance a salvaged or reconstructed title, at least not in CA. The problem is going to be finding someone who has that much cash

GLWS i would just keep it and mod it.

Your not gonna get anywhere near 25k with a salvaged title. Most dealers wont even want to touch it. I dont know why people buy junk cars fix them and think there gonna get book value for it. Not saying you did that but but the $ you saved by buying your not gonna make a profit on it. Since the car fax is gonna say heavy front end collision glws

Those offers are for cars with clean titles. i doubt you told the dealer that. The whole thing doesnt make sense you wanna sell a higher valued car for the same car lesser valued. The reason is you dont want to mod the nismo. Doesnt make any sense

Depends on your horsepower goals but plenty of HRs putting down low 500's on stock motor at only 9-10 psi. If you're looking to go bigger than I can understand you wanting a built DE since the power is proven. IMO keep the Nismo and mod that if you know it was repaired properly and drives right.
