Is this a good deal for a Nismo?
Hey whats up guys, I've already searched around but I wanted to double check that this is a good deal for a Nismo.
I'm looking at a 2008 Silver Nismo with 2,8xx miles for $27k and then a 2008 White Nismo with 5,715 miles for $28k. How low do you think I can go with arguing at the dealership because you know the economy is hard, gotta squeeze out every penny So what do you guys think, how low should I go? Thanks for any help everyone, hope I'm a new Z owner soon!

That's exactly what happend to me a few days ago. As Lakeside said to me, "Stick to your guns!" Just haggle. It seems like you could tell them it has 5k for the white and 2.8 k on the silver. Say that their both the same car just a different color. Good luck, my dealership gave in and gave me a great deal for 28 drive out. Plus, the MSRP is about 40k so yea.

Thanks for the advice, I think I wasn't clear enough in my first post. The cars are located at different dealerships, about 100 miles apart. I'm gonna try and visit them this weekend and haggle them for a price reduction. I was just wondering how low can I go without asking too much? You guys obv know a lot more about how much theyre worth than I do so help mehh haha

Yeah, I just joined the forum not too long ago. I got the car two days ago and its great so far. Its just up to you about the color. As far as the price, keep bartering with them. We got the car after Christmas and they had to get rid of it because its already 2010. You might be able to sucker them in alittle bit more, but your getting a great deal already. 10k to about 12 k from the 40k msrp and its been driven alot. I have a thread and some pics its in the 08 nismo 350z thread.

26-27K for either one..and that should be OUT the door price!!
Any more than that and you should then look to get a 370z.

Both are Grrreat prices! Just pick a color and Go for it! I doubt they will be willing to deal any lower. 27-28K is already rock bottom pricing. 31-32K is more common but with some haggling some have been able to work a Price of 28-29K
Good Luck
I paid 37K for mine and I thought I was getting a great deal!.. LOL But then again mine had no miles and I bought it in the Middle of Nov of '07 so they wanted to move the car before winter.

Thanks ALOT for all the help and responses, this seems like a great forum, everyones so helpful. Yeah no doubt I've been wanting a Z even back in highschool when the first 350z started coming out, and now I would do just about anything to get it. I've got an 09 Camry v6 but cmon when you're in your 20s, you want a sweet 2 seater not a 4 door family sedan, when is the best time to drive a 2 seater than when youve got no kids/family! Well thanks again for all the help, I'll keep everyone updated Hopefully I can be a permanent member at the forum soon

LoL thats for the Kudos! The Nismo is my 2nd Z. My first Z was a track edition.
My experience is basically all NA builds! I use to boost acura's but have since moved on to Z's! So no real practical experience boosting a Z yet. Still debating taking the plunge with a GTM stage 2 kit with an OS Giken clutch. But my car only has 8 kmi on it. I'm in no rush! I also plan on keeping this car till DEATH! lol
I am very forth coming with my experience and knowledge! I'm here to benefit others. Just beware! There are many Trolls here. Often, they are quick to post with no experience to back it up. So do your research and you'll be just fine!
