Default New Tennessee NISMO Owner | Quick Pics of #690

Hey guys,

Just got back with the car last night, so please forgive the dirt here and there. I'm very particular about my cars, but I haven't had a chance to detail it yet and put my personal touches on it. Once I have, I'll get some better pics as well (I'm a bit of a picture *****).

The car was a champ on the highway from Dallas to Knoxville through some absolutely torrential rain. It definitely lacks the overall comfort my GTO had, but the car rewards in so many other ways.

I'm very much looking forward to Z ownership.

Regards,
Matt

p.s. My fellow TN members, please post up and say hi...I've only seen one other (in Germantown), but I know there are more than a few of you.

welcome

The suspension on the nismo is a little stiff, it's not the greatest DD.

welcome, another nice looking Nismo! might want to check and see if the spring spacers are still on the springs, makes it a little more stiff of a ride with them on

Thanks yall! I'll check for spring spacers, although I doubt they're in there. I don't mind the new ride firmness (quite enjoy it actually)...just a significant change from my last car.

I'm surprised that more TN members haven't piped up.

Nice car.. My only comment is to be careful on the stock tires.. They suck in my opinion until they are hot. Even then not great. The car handles so great it can catch you out if your not on top of it.. I have had mine for a year and only have put 6K miles on it but just love it!

First mod: replace stock lugs with red Rays, Work, etc., lugs. Trust me, they look much better.

Clarksville/Nashville here. Great choice on the color (but I am partial). I went with the red Work lugs and they do look 10x better! I am currently deployed to Iraq, but will be back in April. I am also part of the Middle Tennessee Z Club, you should look them up. We do a lot of meets and cruises!
