nismo owners
I was wondering nismo 350z owners do u guys get negative comments on your car or positive? few people hate nismo here and there. but I think they look kinda cool. also have any issues with the motor? thinking about nismo z or just regular z , infiniti.
I second the "stop worrying."
Its a car that draws attention and that takes ***** when someone says, its ugly, what a ugly rear end, stupid looking tail, ricey, bad aftermarket kit, etc. That was just my first two weeks of ownership. However, luv the car - luv the look - people will still be talking in 20 years and saying the same thing. Some are tired of the reference already, but my E30 M3 went thru same thing. I didn't care - luved it.
Buy it cuz you got guts or buy vanilla cuz your gutless.
Just a thought?

Get a nismo, you'll like it. There are some people that consider it "rice" but it doesn't really matter because everydody is different. you drive what you like. I've gotten more
positive comments than negative.

I hope this helps.Im gonna be 33 in may and this is by far the best handling car ive ever driven. Not only does this car get looks but as i look at the car in my garage all winter i appreciate it more and more, plus with the future st kit from failsafe and gtm making a sc kit the possibilities are endless.Get the nismo.

Lol you're gonna coin that phrase
I've only gotten complements. I think the car is good looking from all angles, but what I really like about it, is that it's different.
Frankly I think thats why it draws so much attention. I've walked down Newbury Street in Boston (The most high end street in the city) hundreds of times just to check out the cars.
Being a car enthusiast I'll see a $90,000 Porsche and oogle it knowing what it's capable of, and notice that no one else even gives it a second glance.
Same with high end Mercedes, BMW M what have yous, and even Aston Martins.
I drove through it a few times with my Nismo and my girlfriend said she was getting creeped out because of the people looking at us.
The reason is, the car's dramatic lines, a wing, defined exaust, and offset colors with the gun metal wheels and yellow brake calipers really catch your eye. It also flows together, it isn't just a rice burner with random aftermarket bits attached.
The BMWs and Astons may be awesome and expensive cars, but most don't have a splitter, or a wing, or anything other than the standard silver wheels. So unless you know cars, the average person doesn't notice until they read the badge.
I love the way the Nismo drives, but it also doesn't hurt when you have to force yourself to not look back at it as not to be a tool, when you walk away from it in a garage sitting in that perfect light....
I've also had to do a loop a few times when I saw people standing around the car comming out of a movie or what not. I don't think it's bragging, I think it's a great feeling because for that $30 - 40K out of all the cars you could have bought, you know you picked a good one.

Nothing but positive comments on my NISMO. The only people that ever hate on it are the jealous one on this site with "virtual *****". The wife and I were in the market for a drop top, but once I laid my eyes on the NISMO... well as they say... the rest is history....
