Default Nismo tire options???

I'm new here, hello everyone. I just priced out tires for the first time on my nismo and I feel like I've been kicked in the nuts,($1450 for mounted and balanced bridgestones, only a 30K mile tire I believe.) I'm wondering if any of you guys have suggestions on tire brands and distributors, and if you have moved up to 20", or down to 18", due to these rear tires being stupid expensive???
Thanks in advance, and sorry if this has already been discussed.

Most I have ever spent was $900 shipped, mounted and balanced, for Nitto NT555 Extremes... Non-Nismo Z, on OEM 18's, btw...

IMO, Bridgestones are good, but not worth paying an arm and a leg for.

Welcome. I buy tires at TireRack. Like the selection and prices.

I went with some KUMHO SPT's....275 Rears. about $700.00 mounted and balanced....I was quoted close to $800 for the same set at other places. It is much better than $1400.00

So you run 275/35 on the rear and 245/40 on the front. Any adjustments to make since the factory tires on the rear are 265? Also where did you order these tires?
Thanks I appreciate the response,
Bradley

Yes, 245/40 Front and 275/35 Rear. No problems...I am on stock suspension. The tire shop I was dealing with ordered them and mounted and balanced. The shop is called westkycustoms. They also have a website by that name if you want to check them out. You can also check out Tire Rack. There are more options if you look at different tire sizes besides stock....
