Tryed to get this to fit on the car today, it's not going to work, to bad would have been a good mod.Won't clear strut tower bar or hood!

by how much!

and before folks come in here flaming...

relax!

EDIT:

so that your money isn't wasted I would take it to a shop to have the contact spots from the strut bar grooved out to fit... and have them smooth out the rough design and paint!

This intake would flow more air than stock part!Thats why it would be a good mod.

King got your message! Would restick front 2 cylinders to much, need to completely redesign the intake ofset every thing back 3 inches or more.

It's 3 inches to high on front side were strut tower bar goes over stock intake.

How you do know it flows more air? How does it affect the velocity?

Doesn't that tell you all that you need to know about the R&D that was put into the design of this thing? You're lucky you're going to be sticking with your OEM setup that has some actual engineering put into it.

I've got it now so I can make it work, redesign it! I'm going to take my hood off,get it plumbed up and do my own R&D! Thanks for the motivation to keep going!!!

Without dynoing it, how could you be so sure?

I saw this on ebay...is it the same one? I honestly bet this was made by someone with not that much experience...When messing with something like this, it is good to go with a person/company who has put a lot of time and money in research and design...This is pretty cool, but it doesn't look like it had much research put into it.
