Nismo tires
I use the RE-11's and their awesome front and rear, i use em on both the street and 1/4 mile track, of course there not a drag tire but still pretty sticky for a street tire and decently priced. I used the DW's before, but they didnt last long with the same use and traction wasnt AS good. Ventus does suck, no grip and treadwear also isnt that great. I'd find myself fishtailing around corners too often without intention and would spin horribly thru 2nd and a good ways thru 3rd...altho fun when messin around but made for an unsafe drive when its unintentional, and the 452's were about the same but good in rain against hydroplaining, factory RE05's were better. I had the Nitto NEO Gen's in the rear i used for a summer but thats all they lasted for with my driving, treadwear sucks but response and traction was decent enough to say they were ok. Dont have any experience with the other tires.
Hope this helps anyone for future reference.

I just ordered my 3rd set of Hankook Ventus EVO 12 285/35 & 255/35. Car and Driver did a test where the Michelin PS2's were the bench mark. They ran 10 "affordable" sets and Hankook came in 2nd. Not bad for a $700 set of tires.
But I did notice some of the softness mentioned in the article when I first switched to them

I have had the stock Bridgestone's & am currrently running the RE-01R's. These are like gum when they get warm, but are similar to erasers, on how they wear. I will be trying out the RE-11's or the Advan 08 for my next set. Anyone try out the Advan 08's yet?

I've run Hankook V12 and RS3s. Both are very good tires at a great price and reasonable when it comes to noise. The RS3s took 4 seconds off my lap times and set some TTB class track records, but the V12s were very capable and competitive on the track and in autocross. The Direzza and Kumho XS are other tire's I've considered.
Here's some objective reviews of street tires considered some of the most competitive in autocross and on the track. Forum review are too subjective thus unreliable...
