+1 boomer, +1 brandon, + castillo.

I don't have to say anything, you can tell your childish if your thread results in wanting to drag race to prove a point. Also you get what you pay for when it comes to the aftermarket world, and if you flow tested that exhaust vs. hks, greddy, etc I am sure it would show. And even if the power was close the quality is not there, it will either discolor/rust out in a couple months im sure.

We're all bros here let keep it brother oriented...

Latest development on the hks exhaust shown that everything name brand is worth it's price...

Some folks believe in what works...

I am one of those guys if part is A is $1.00 and part B is $10.00

But shown gains! **** it!

It's not like he's claim it's the best out there...

All his parts are slighty better than stock...

he's a busy person and hasn't given us what we want! Lol

I'm not defending him in his purchases I'm just a person who sees to believe...

Name brand is just the easy way out to a problem and that problem is gains.

Example!

A stock exhaust isn't better than a Hi Power HKS exhaust

Yet a custom 3inch exhaust from the y-pipe back is better than that HKS!

That's what I'm about and old man Nizmo0395 is that kinda guy aswell but he did rush into a few buys ill advised...

/peacemaking attempt

Lmao

LMAO, you killed the fire king jk jk...

I see what you're saying and I'm all for that, but that doesn't give someone the right to be an a$$...This guy is missing it, it's not about the parts. My main thing is he's calling vendors out for selling brand name products "too expensive", and anyone with brand name parts now owns a "show queen"...My thing is, if you dont wanna spend the $$$ for brand name parts, great, cool, and dandy, but dont talk **** to those that want to have quality. I simply think Mr. eBay is off his rocker, that is all.

Carry on gentlemen.

Not talking trash, fact top 13 and with in the next 2wks will be better because of mods. I don't have a rich daddy to spend alot on my car.

Your show queen is a perfect example to show that its not how much you spend but what you get!

Prove me wrong and post a Quicker ET., its that simple with all the power and $$$$$ you have in your car, should run a 12.6 1/4mi and be quickest in the 07-08 modded cars easy!!!

No, all you were doing is what all the other lemons on this site do, bash and talk down to others about doing something different

You need to learn how to read, I referred to the drag site, which is a gauge as to were you and your car is compared to others!

I think we all get the point. No need to continue to flame.

OP, not exactly what I would do, but as long as you are happy. However, for the love of all that's holy, please put your wheels back on!
Have any installed pics of the exhaust from underneath? Interested to see how they effect your times. Good luck with the mods!

Funny thing about this comment, thats what was said about parts from Japan in the 60's,70's and thru the mid 80's!!!

No on the pictures of install and the wheels are't on my lightning, there sitting in the garage with original tires @ 7k mi. I need a wheel I can rotate to get my moneys worth out of my tires, you can't do that with the rays! Besides I just got some Nitto nt-01 that are next to be put on, once I use up the (FAULKEN) 615. The wheels look better in person.

If I can get it to hook in 1st and 2nd should get a 13.2 and maybe quickest Nismo in the modded section, thats what I'm shooting for.Still working bugs out of the intake, won't be on for the next strip tests...

^^^Nice, yea man I ran mine with pretty much every bolt on/tune but I had the old nismo intakes...The best I ran was 13.32 @ ~104 mph...(can't remember) with the 285 potenza re050a's...I need to take it again and see if the stillen gen3 intakes made a difference...

Nizmo, props for getting that time with those mods...(But I still have a better time with my garage queen...)

Brandon you need to post the time slip to get credit, it would be a bad thing for everybody on the site to know that I,with less money in mods than your exhaust is worth is faster than you. Even with my weight disadvantage, no Ebay is still winning with an old phart like me.

LOL

I don't care honestly, I don't even have my time slip...drag racing to me is boring, which is why I enjoy autox and track events. I basically do drag to see the progression i make with my mods to see if they make any difference. I did that time last summer, don't care if it's official or not...let's just say your car is faster/cooler and your a better driver. I dont care lol...Ok, let's move on.

I'm not sure if this has been an on going issue beyond this thread... If it is then I am sorry.. But just from a 3rd person perspective, OP posted mods he's made to his own car. He gets flamed, and to boot gets told to GTFO in his own thread. In retaliation he tells said flamers to put up or shut up, but $ for $ is out performing all of you.

I'm not defending his mods, because I tend to be a label ***** on my own car, and I'll admit I'm at the point where I mod my car a lot for looks and stance. I don't actively race anymore, and out of the phase where everything has to be 100% function. I just think its lame how so many people have vested interest in the OP choice of mods, after he's already stated its not the greatest mods in the world, but have definitely suited his purpose just fine... Just my 2 cents.

As entertaining as this is, Brandon, I suggest not poking the bear. Let Nizmo0395 continue his soapbox - it is his thread. Your car is amazing, no sense in arguing that, so why let him get under your skin? Be the better man, ya?

And Nizmo0395, all I suggest is to realize you are dealing with a predominantly younger demographic here, so views and opinions will undoubtedly clash with yours. You are a baller on a budget and I congratulate you for exercising your cost-friendly car mod passion. I'm sure your car is/was amazing, no sense in arguing that, so why let other members get under your skin? Be the better man, ya? Take constructive criticism with a grain of salt and ignore the negative feedback.

It's sad to see members in a community as great as ours bash each other time and time again. Everyone has their own opinions and makes their own choices. Instead of hating on this, appreciate the fact that your cars are unique and you are part of an awesome community that love the car and scene just as much as you do. It's a respect thing.

In an attempt to break up this rooster fight, I encourage all negative comments be directed to myself and this post
