The 08 is actually a 09 .it's sold at 09.all the installations on the nismo are better than the 2011 base. Except the latter has an advanced engine and is new. The nismo has better brakes suspensions wheels new bridgestone tires navi sub and intake . Those modifications are worth a lot . There might be more modifications that I havnt noticed

I have always loved the Nismo's. And when you are driving a manual you are so much more into the driving experience. In my opinion the nismo's are WAY better looking than the 370z's. However, i do believe you would be able to find a cheaper one. I would sell your 370z or find someone who is looking to upgrade to a 370 (many are). Just do some searching and don't jump on the first deal that comes your way. Be patient and a good one will come your way

It may have sold new in 09, however, it is still an 08. Nissan only made the nismo 350z for the 2007 and 2008 model years.

So, why not look for a base 370z? I have an 08HR base and love it. A lot of members here would rather get a base and mod to taste. If you have a sport package you may find yourself wanting to upgrade that package for aftermarket parts.

After lurking the marketplace for 4 years I've seen so many nismo, enthusiast, grand touring owners selling their stock parts just so they can buy better parts. Once the mod bug hits you...

thanks man, iv been looking for a while. But the new car just depreciates too much which is only worth no more than 27K. Thats why the dealer agreeed to an even trade but its still hard devision for them. Who will buy a 2000 k used based car while they can buy brand new for 2000 bucks more? Id say they can make money on my cat but may take much longer, while they can sell the nismo very quickly and also makes a lot of money.. I may ask them
For free extended warrenties or Maybe I could get a 09 nismo. But that may take a while....

Ya, its sad how much it depreciates as soon as you drive it off the lot. Ask some other dealers how much they would give you for your car. If its around 26 then I think you found yourself a good deal for a Nismo.
Especially if you can get an extended warranty.

A 370 Base AT isn't a desirable car... For them to be asking 29K for a nismo with 25,000 miles is typical for a dealer. It gives them some room to negotiate. Depending on how many miles are on you Z, once you roll off the lot the value takes a hit.

So it's gotta be pretty damn close to an even trade.. I hate the looks of the calipers on the 370's! So cheap.... I also have some other complaints. With any luck Nissan will resolve them in the next couple model years.

Not sure lol but it seems to be low mileage and if you could get it for 22k that would be a good deal as long as it is in pretty good condition.
Test drive it and take it to a good mechanic for a look over before purchase.
Could be that it is in perfect condition but it doesn't hurt to be careful.
How far away from the Nismo are you?
