Looks like a pretty big project! Welcome and best of luck. You should keep this thread going with progress pics. Also, there's a single rear NISMO wheel for sale right now, you should ****** it up. Check it out here: https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-tire...ear-wheel.html

Also, post in the registry and I'll update it.

lookin good!

How do you guys go about pulling the trunk back besides using a new panel. I'm guessing it's all hammer time to get the form back?

Yes sir a lot of hammer to get the form back. I'll post more tomorrow, I just need to do some work on the trunk latch & wait for the bumper to arrive.

Wow, body work is such an art.

I am curious - did you pick this up for a steal, thus making it a good project car? Given your position, could you resell this for a pretty good profit or does it somewhat even out in the end?

Considering the time and effort invested, would this be worth doing if one did not have access to their own body shop? I figure, Nismos in average/good condition sell for around 19-23k these days, so take that into account.

I honestly did purchase this nismo for a steal & with the advantage of having my own body shop then it'll definitely be profitable selling it. unless i decide to keep her i will keep you all posted with how much i have invested in total. Monday my employees are back in and the rear bumper should be arriving Tuesday.
