Default Adding Nismo 370Z Seats

So there's a new Nismo 370Z in town and the owner is selling his seats for some racing seats. He said that he'd give me a good price on it since he's my friend but idk what that price is yet.. I like these seats because they say Nismo on them and just love the look overall, they look a little more professional. Do you guys think that this would look good in a black Nismo 350Z?

I wouldn't spend anything on them. I like the looks of the non Nismo seats better.

wow, those seats look terrible. No wonder the 370Z guy wants to dump them... not that ours are great either, but geez.

I've tried looking on this forum and I cannot locate an aftermarket seat thread... there's usually one in every forum I've been on. What gives?

I was agreeing with you! Lol that's why I posted so fast behind you...just goes to show you how Nissan fooled us all into thinking something is special with the Nismo name!

We are suckers to something special!

Wow... I never noticed how ugly that headrest is. He said that he may just let them go for free so if he does i'll take em but if he does decide to charge it would have to be a really good price for me to spend money on them after seeing how similar they are to ours.. Thanks guys!

If you ever look at the seats you would notice they made them very porous! Which helps prevent driver movement. Leather seats would be like a slip n' slide. Sure they look nice but perform not so nice!

Fair enough! I guess it is somewhat a "race car", but most just buy for the looks, and I think leather would be a good option on an already sick car! Black and red leather would be sweet!

If the factory seats were designed worth a crap they could make them in leather and you wouldn't have to worry about sliding around. A sports car should have seats that hug you, these things are like a sofa with no lateral support.

What's the point? You might as well get some nice bucket seats instead of the stock seats.

Agreed. My SS Cobalt with the factory Recaro option had mesh inserts but the seats had bolsters and held you in place, the seats in the Z are way too sloppy for such a good handling car.
