To me his Z looks like a car with some after market Nismo parts.

Agreed. Looks like run of the mill 350z with Ver 2. front bumper, lmgt4's and a nismo sticker

Yeah, car could have been built by Nismo, either originally or the owner sent it off to Nismo to have the factory car modified. Or those papers could just be the receipts, warrantee, legal disclaimer, etc. If the engine were modified by Nismo (S1, S2, etc) it should have a plate on the engine cover with specs and where it was done (like Omari Factory). Nice car, just not the '07/'08 Nismo/Autech factory Version Nismo.

And definitely not an s-tune GT

yea, my wild guess since most of the car "looked" the same...

That's what I was thinking...maybe....it all depends on those "papers" and whether they hold weight!

then again they may just be receipts for authentic parts and someone sold him a dream...

ive never seen the nismo/380 spec here in the uk or the s-tune nismo version....

im pretty happy with what i have and what price i got it at, seems a little strange you'd want to pay so much more for a plaque and a bodykit

thanks for the info though helped a lot

And welded seams + upgraded suspension amongst other things, but who's keeping track?

Cool beans man...in the US we've been told there 380s running lose over there...you very well might have yourself an authentic version. The info is so vague on what's what like build numbers/specs/etc...
