Default Zspeed under shroud question for the Nismo V3 bumper

Is it absolutely necessary to buy the extension piece they sell for the under shroud? I haven't crawled under the car yet to see if it fits without it.

Do you have a Nismo? The factory nismo has a plastic piece there that connects to the normal shroud. If you are adding the nismo bumper to a non-nismo car you would need either the factory plastic panel or the Z speed extension panel.

Sweet the answer I was looking for. Yes I have a Nismo Z, so the v3 diffuser does hook up to the regular shroud. Perfect.

There ya go. I started with just the undershroud on mine, and ended up swapping my factory plastic for the aluminum extension piece.

It does not come with instructions and I ended up reusing bolts. Try not to use longer bolts towards the thinner part of the lip as you risk screws going protruding through the top of your lip.

My stock plastic engine guard was always pretty awful but I did feel a measurable difference, especially on the front straight of a track or at high speed but that's just measured by my *** so yeah I'm probably just talking out my ***.

Oil changes are easier too.
