Gold or Silver
Either really metallic color really shows off the lines. As a graphic designer I see the difference. While I love white & black (I have white 240Z & black Ferrari) metallic mid colors create definition in forms aesthetically advantageous to accentuating lines. Yeah, my F-car would look better in titanium. Taking care of a black car is a pain.

I've had black, gunmetal, silver, red, yellow, white, blue, green cars.
Black was nice when I had the time to keep it detailed weekly.
White in pearl is awesome. However, touch up can be tricky
Red gets tickets.... Yellow gets tickets ... Lime Green gets tickets ....
I know you guys think silver is boring.... However, I do like the way it shows of the lines, ease of care, ease to touch up, doesn't show buffer swirl and doesn't seem to stand out for tickets. If you want it to stand out (I don't) you can put graphics on it these days that make it look out of this world. My cars always standout at shows by the little things I do.... This time light olive leather interior with a really nice touch screen radio. No nav for me I have it on my phone to use in all my cars. I like the cubby hole covered with the door. It looks better to me.

Another old thread! Anyway our car was driven through the rain etc for 2 days then another day in sand storms. My wife parked the car and I asked her if she had it washed. Nope, now I am a firm believer in Gun Metal Gray. Wow it hides dirt better than any other color I have had over the years. Black sucks to take care of. I wash the IPL once a week and use quick detailer on it a couple more times. I swore after the black Jag I would never buy another black vehicle (yes I know the IPL is not REALLY black, but might as well be). The up keep just isn't worth it. Never buy black unless you want to be a slave to your car or just don't give a crap what it looks like.
Signed slave to a darn IPL

It should be offered in the 40th color! It looks different at each shade of light.
Mine is the one on the right comparing it to a stock 40th Anniversary on a dealer lot
