I was at a car meet last night and saw a black nismo 370 and saw that it was number 1 for 2012! Pretty crazy considering it ended up in Bakersfield of all places. He got it fresh off of the truck with 2 miles. Hopefully some pics will come!

It doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me. It's a wow geez thing, maybe a selling feature. However, owning the first 370z would be impressive.

 

still kind of cool to have the #1 serial plated anything really : P

the 370z nismo is still a car I lust after looks wise! so beautiful. just wasn't enough of an upgrade from the 350 for me. felt too similar, in all respects.

 

If the number isn't special then why does everyone post there serial number. cough.. cough.. #0191!

If the number is irrelevant then don't post it right? No one gives a damn you have #0191.

Obviously there is a significance to the serialization. Otherwise they wouldn't have wasted time doing that. You might not see the big picture but there are others that do.
