Default need some help...50hp dry setup with micro switch..

greetings from a g35 sedan 6mt........didn't get much response on the g35driver side about installing this puppy, so, i thought i'd try here.....

from the searches and all, been informed that don't need to go to colder plugs since it's only a 50shot, can someone confirm?.....mount 10lb bottle in truck facing engine tilted up, check....position nozzle between maf and throttle body and point it to spray towards throttle body....check

now, how and where the heck am i gonna installl this micro-switch? it's 1/2 the size of a tic-tac box.....can this micro-switch nx system setup even work with the g sedan s drive by wire set-up? this is where i'm stuck.......got this as freebie and wanted to give a shot .......appreciate any inputs...tia.

back in the days we used to mount those under the gas pedal, but that was on se-r's and honda's i think you will need other safety stuff like a tps sensor

took a peek in the gas pedal area, humm, your idea looks pretty feasible.......just need to fabricate bracket to fit........i normally shift around 2-3k range and figure that going wot and spraying after 3k+ is ideal..........is going to one step colder plugs necessary for a 50hp dryshot?...and the oem fuel system is sufficient for this task as well?.......thanks.

my bolt ons: headers, y-pipe, crank pulley, 1/2" plenum spacer, kn panel filter, z-tube

yeah one step plugs would be a safe bet even with a 50 shot. you probably could get away with out them but I would go ahead and get them. the oem fuel system is fine for the nitrous but I'm not sure is the Gsedan has a fuel return line to "T" off the fuel for the dry kit.

I wouldnt use the micro switch, get a TPS switch, since we have a drive by wire system with the mirco switch your foot would be down and the system would spray, but that doesnt mean the throtle is open since the ECU can close it if it detects slip, or engine cut off. The best way to do it is to get the TPS switch, i believe NX sells one.

yuo said you bought an NX kit. it should come with a bracket for the microswitch.

MOunt the switch to the bracket. Then, look behind the pedal. there is a 10mm nut that you can mount the bracket to.

You'll have to bend the bracket to get the perfect fit, but that is why the bracket is malleable.

put the bracket on the stud protruding from the firewall. secure witht the same 10mm nut you removed.

Eventually, a tps-based switch is a better idea.

Fianlly, make sure you turn off the VDC. You wouldn't want the computer to close the throttle blade do to wheel slippage!!!! especially while you are spraying.

If you must use the micro switch please make sure NO TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEMS ARE ON this will cause many problems, have fun!

XBS;
What jets are you running for the 100 shot?
Have you dyno-ed, if so can you post your HP and torque curves?
