nos vs. nx vs. zex
can someone break down the advantages and disadvantages of these 3 kits. Like which one is more complete, which one is safest, which one produces more hp, etc. etc. etc.
bro mikey, its all over this forum, this topic is in atleast 20 different threads.
I'm not one of those peckers that says use a search button, b/c I can see how it would be hard to search it, but trust me its in here.
If there time I hit you back.

Here's my thoughts:
Zex is probably the easiest to install. All components are housed in a single unit. Some like that, but I prefer to have access to all the components. Also, it has a built-in TPS trigger.
NOS has been around for a long time...kind of like Kleenex is to tissue paper. You can't go wrong with NOS stuff. It gets the job done.
NX has been very innovative in the N2O business. Their innovations are really forcing other companies to redesign and keep up. fully auto bottle heater, real romote bottle opener, maximizer, "fire and ice", etc. The solenoids in their universal kit are BEEFY!.... far beefier than NOS and don't about zex (because they are inside a box.) Aslo, the NX Iceman solenoids (included in universal kit) includes a outelt port for a purge to directly connect to. It is the best designed, by far. The design allow the purge valve to be located in such a manner, that you are guaranteed to have liquid nitrous in the solenoid while purging. It also makes it super easy and clean to ad a purge valve. I think NX just came out with a new bottle valve too which all new kits should ship with.
I think you can tell what my choice would be. I have had Both NOS and NX kits in the past. I always recommend NX to people now. Of couse, most nitrous accesories will work on any nitrous system.
In the end, the most imprtant parts of your nitrous systems are the strength and reliabilty of the solenoids and the effectiveness of the nozzle/jets. All else are extras. Base your purchase on solenoids and nozzle/jets, that is it. All else, you can add!!!
