little help
Ok I was debating on getting this nitrous system:

but after reading some searches concerning venoms products...I have some concern. If this was you, and you had 700 bucks to blow on a nitrous system, would you do it?

Don't do it!
I have a Venom kit on my G35 and it doesn't work like it's supposed to. Venom does include some nice electronics in the kit to save your engine but eventually if you want it to be right you'll have to add a 2nd solenoid for fuel so you don't run lean.

Tack - FWIW, my ZEX kit's been running perfectly so IMHO it's not a bad choice.
However, the limiting parameter seems to be their solenoids. The ones in the VQ kit will only go to 175 hp
( or so I'm told by one of their techs ). Of course, on the stock internals that'd probably be too much anyway.
The NX brand is probably the best known amongst the import crowd & it's a good system as well. Good luck!

I tell you what....I did some searching and never really found a thread on the type of product that I want. I will list the type of system that I want and you more experienced cats can tell me if it actually exists, or something equivalent.
I would like a computer controlled system that works much like a turbo. Computer controlled to give a certain spray amounts at a certain RPM, in a certain gear to gain consistant reliable power throughout the powerband. A adjustable curve graph representing rpm's to nitrous amount would be nice. Simply some way of being able to adjust those two numbers respectively would be nice. Eg: 1st gear = x amount of nitrous @ 1000rpm; x amount of nitrous @ 2000rpm; x amount of nitrous @ 3000rpm and so forth. The amount would have to be able to be a gradient and not straight POW! 50 shot, then POW! 60 shot. The nitrous amount would have to be able to go up smoothly in very small incriments. Each gear you could get respectively more nitrous in direct relation to time reaching certain RPM's also. Take the example above, more nitrous would be used if you reached 6000rpms in 1st gear in 3 seconds before shifting, as opposed to reaching 4000rpms in 5 seconds before shifting. The system would also need to be able to detect the gear you are in, so that revving in neutral would not expend nitrous. A sensor to detect your air/fuel ratio and shut off the system would be a must, as would the ability to safely turn the system totally off when not in use. I am looking to gain a consistant 20-30 whp, and that is all. I would gladly spend a grand on a system like this for those gains.
Am I dreaming over here?

they have a lot of different controllers, www.jegs.com they have a lot of them up there, you can get them to do just about anything you want, i would get a basic six cylinder wet kit and work off it.
