its not worth the money for that kit specially since it wont even last a 1/4 mile run. because its a dry shot, you will have to reprogram the ECU to dump more fuel and do it when your spraying only so you wont run rich when N/A and fry your plugs among other things. kinda like a flip chip on domestics.
you might be able to get away with a 35hp dry shot without having to tweak the ECU since most z tend to run rich at high rpms. wouldnt recommend it though. dry shot are dangerous, i dont care what anyone else tells you. i wont get into details.
you can get a 3lb or 5lb bottle and easily hide it. you show be able to hide 2 3lb bottles in your spare tire area, maybe even 2 5lb bottles. but you'd have to check for clearence since the bottle needs to be on a minimum 15 degree angle. i wouldnt put it anywhere else for safety because of the blow down tube and wiring up a bottle heater and opener.

Yeah it seems a little expensive for what you get, but a cool idea none the less. You could stick that thing anywhere and not take up any space at all. Only good for one shot though, I guess it would get you an additional .1 or .2 for that ONE run. On the down side you would have to fill it up every single time you wanted to fire a shot... one shot... time to refill... one shot.... time to refill... lol, that would suck.
you can set it up to give you a 75 shot if you want, it might only be enough nitrous for a single pass, 75 dry shot, however, i dont think that it would be that safe even though we run rich at higher rpms, i have a 10 pound bottle, i can probably get 12-15 passes of each bottle, the jet sizes are what controls the size of the horsepower, i would do a search for a 2 or 5 pound bottle that you could hide, relocate your battery to the back and put it in there, or possibly behind a fake 4080 box in the back, or think about building a fake sub enclosure in the trunk and keeping a regular bottle in there, there are always ways around stuff, i doubt they are going to pull you over looking for nitrous, just dont make it obvious...

im actually thinking about putting in a couple sneaky petes for myself while im riding down the street, all i need is an oxygen mask, hehe
actually i just figured out that the sleigh in jingle bells had nitrous....

its really easy to install, and they arent going to warranty your engine because driver error is where the problem is
well it took me about two hours to install start to finish with one of my friends, so figure $75 an hour, possibly between 200-300 dollars

install time depends on what you will be installing. you have your basic kit, bottle heater, bottle opener, purge kit. it also depends on what type of setup you plan on having. if you want a stealthy setup then it will take even longer then just slapping it together wherever it can go. it all takes time, but its fairly simple to do.
i did my install over a 4 day period. 2-3 hours a day. i stripped the whole interior down to make the wiring easier. the shop wanted to charge me $900 in labor just for the basic kit. riiiiight.

Run a 5lbs bottle instead, with a normal kit. Just have whoever installs it run the solenoids hidden, it's not too hard to do, especially on the Z. you can mount them inside one of the compartments for either the battery or reservoirs, and then cover any hose coming out of the firewall with black wrap, would look factory. and mount the nozzle into the intake but from underneath, and cover it with a large vacuum style hose, so you can't really see it. For the bottle, there is an empty space behind the driver's seat behind that console, where the glvoe box is on the right hand driver versions. or mount the bottle in the glvoe box, a 5lbs bottle will fit.
All hidden that way. There are tons of places and ways on the Z to hide larger bottles and components, so you don't need to sacrafice anything by getting a small sneaky pete bottle. It's not worth it for the headache of how many times you'll need to refill. a 5lbs bottle will work.

The sneaky pete is a cool system if you want to cheat in a race. The only problem is the pressure in the little bottle is never consistant. You must have bottle pressure between 900-1100 psi to get the proper amount of nitrous. Sometimes the bottle is hot and too full and you get more coming out of the bottle and then towards the end of the run, the bottle is so low, the pressure is just not there anymore. The last thing you want with a nitrous kit is for it to be inconsistant.
If you're gonna spray....get a NX wet kit. They rate their shots from RWHP, not from the flywheel. So if you have a 75 shot jet in the nozzle, you're getting an extra 75hp @ the wheels. Everyone else rates it at the flywheel. I used NX on my civic for two years (50k miles to 100k miles) and NEVER had a problem. Ran like a champ the day I sold it. No one is gonna look in your trunk to see if you're sprayin...they'll look under the hood for the solynoids. I take that back...the tech guy at the track may look back there if he thinks you're spraying because you have to have a blow down tube @ the track when running nitrous. IF you really want to hide the bottle, find a way to put it where the spare tire is. Otherwise, you could always cut a hole in the bottom of a gym bag and slip the bag over the bottle. That's what I did...worked like a charm.
