Has anyone tried to mount a NOS bottle in the area where the spare tire and tool kit are (underneath the mat). I am trying to mount it as stealth as possible. Thanks.

 

Absolutely man. I got mine installed completely stealth with the bottle hidden vertically in the spare tire area, the switches (both arming and purge) in the astray and all lines hidden under the hood. I have Zex, so i had my shop screw the Zex electrical box against my firewall (behind the VQ). Im sure that it will fit. I have one 10lb bottle in the spare. HOWEVER, there WILL be a slight hump in the carpet due to the fact that the bottle HAS to be mounted at an angle so that the nitrous can flow properly. I am hoping to soon fix the hump w/ a foam layer which will make the carpet lay flat. Other than that i guarentee that nobody will know.
