Default N2O & MD spacer Iso Themral

just thinking about those who are using the MD spacer with the Iso themral upgrade...I'm pretty sure one part of it has the ability to cut the radiator fluid from heating the TB - MD says only to cut the flow if ambient temps are above XX degrees F. Just thinking that if you're using N2O, you shouldn't close that valve either...it'd be bad to get your TB stuck at WOT.

thoughts?

That will never be caused by it being cold. Your throttle body will warm up eventually because of the engine heat that transfers from the heads to the intake manifold to the throttle body.

it cools down the TB by bypassing the coolant, not by much though. after about 5 minutes of driving, the plenum is up to normal temp.

i wouldnt worry about that at all....

I thought nissan routed coolant through the TB to ensure that it wouldn't freeze in cold weather climates? I've read in some recalls (forget if it's for the Z or not) of the TB freezing in the open position...

The reason I thought of this was that yesterday when I purged, my outside temp gauge (I have a temp gauge from my remote radar detector) went to flashing 'freezing' for a few seconds b/c the purge is within a 1ft of the temp probe.

I also doubt the likleyhood of it happening, but thought I'd through the idea out there.
