Default Window switch

Who is using one?
What RPM levels did you set yours at and what wire did you tap into for the sensor?

I plan on using this one

Mainly because I have the Zex kit that already comes with the WOT switch

3000 and 500 shy of your rev limiter are fine

any of the coils are fine, just get the voltage meter out and poke one to get the right one with the right voltage

keep in mind you have to modify the MSD to work with the Z. I used the dynotune nitrous window/tps switch. I'd rather get a signal than have a microswitch. I dunno if Zex uses the TPS or not. Gear lockout is a cool feature with the dynotune as well.

I have my window switch set at 3800 rpms right now. Think I'm gonna lower it to 3200 next chance I get.

I had thought about getting that one because of the gear lockout

Any idea what I'll have to modify

They have to replace something in it....it has to be able to read the low voltage the Z puts out on the tach signal.

you have to send it off to MSD and have them restructure it to read 5 volts and 1 cylinder, it costs about 40 dollars and will take a week to get it there and back... i would say to buy a utec!!
