Default I want to go with nitrous, is that price right?

Hello,

I have called a shop today, because i wanted to go with Nitrous XS 100shot.
He said that's going to cost me around $1900, that's for
- Nitous XS 100 Shot
- Nitorus gauge
- Bottel warmer
- Nitrous Opener
- Utec tunning
- Dayno Pack3000 before and after the installation
- Laber Cost

What do you guys think?

and do you guys think it's going to be save, for stock engine?

Thanks

sounds high since you already have a UTEC. Also you will need a few more things, fuel tap and spark plugs.
Ask for a break down on the price so you know what you would be paying for everything
NX kit= $
bottle heater= $
and so on

and yes I would say a 100 shot is safe for a stock motor

not sure about the install price, did mine myself the 1st time but $640.00 does seem alittle high IMO

But they are different Brands. If you can give me links with everything I need for the nitrous setup, I will be really appreciated.

and the NX kit is all you really need to run a 100 shot, you already have a UTEC but not sure if you have a Map Switch http://www.performancefactory.com/st...09e1306de56e19 will be needed to switch between tunes

hope that helps, if you need some more info shot me a pm or maybe Audible Mayhem will come give some info

That looks fairly reasonable actually. You can save some money by buying the stuff yourself but If you want the no hassle option of just dropping it off, and picking it up ready to spray, that's not all that bad.

thanks justin!! yeah man, if you were closer i could do the whole setup for you the right way. i would use NX products way way before i would use NOS. i have a lot of experience with both and NX is far superior.

all your prices look good on the install except the install price, its a little high.

good luck man!!

Ok, I have called the shop today to ask them if they do have NX. They say yes, and it's going to cost me more $200. Then I asked them if i can buy the kit online. He said then the installation will gose up + when don't warranty the work after the installation is done. WTF

We are the most reputable in CO for this stuff. No one cares for customer cars like we do. The bottom line is you have to pay to play, a nitrous install isnt something you want done by the lowest bidder, or an inexperienced installer. We have done everything from a dry 50 shot up to 3 stage 1000hp+ direct port setups. All of which are still running strong. I dont know how many car fires and blown motors we have fixed on cars that had
kits done by the "other guys". We are not the cheapest in town or the most expensive, but my prices are fair for what we provide.

I didn't know "a little high" is the same as "fair." So are you saying that since you're the only performance shop in town that can be trusted gives you the right to take an extra 2-3 hours to install or charge an extra $40/hr labor than what most of these other trusted shops (who don't blow motors) in other areas do?

Basically what you're saying is, pay the premium of living in a place with fewer quality tuners, or be prepared to drive to a more reasonable shop.
