i started installing my Zex wet kit today and had a question. i installed the ZEX box and the Dynotune purge solenoid on the firewall in the middle. After i did that i read that you do not want the purge solenoid to get too hot. Is the box and the purge solenoid okay to be behind the engine against the firewall? I wrapped the dynotune purge solenoid in a heat wrap. Just want to hear your opininios before i finish this off and have to redo it. I'm not concerned with it being stealth...just want it to be safe.

 

I have an 03 g35 sedan and installed mine in the brake master cylinder compartment on wall between it and the intake tub.

FYI.. nice and stealthy, but if you do that you cannot use Stillen master brake cylinder stiffener.

 

I had a speed shop install mine and they located my zex box on firewall and the purge below the windshield wiper(zoom in) and also Hide the bottle behind the amp rack. And pic with lcd screen, you can see arming switch to the left of it and down. More pics on link
