same boost just colder intake charge=more power....if i remember right it didnt lean the car at all...if it did it must have been so little that the tuner didnt need to compensate...just sprayed the ic a few times for fun on the dyno...

weird, I've seen it on a number of cars and it raised the A/F ratio a good point everytime I witnessed it. A few times on an integra turbo, surpa, 240sx (turbo KA), and RX-7.

cooler intake charge also means more air...more air and same fuel = leaner condition.

Did you go off the wide band o2 or the sniffer on the dyno?

very nice looking ride..is that custom paint?? it looks really dark to be the factory color.

im not sure about Z's but in regards to your first post there is a zex kit with a bunch of controls for it...im pretty sure it would work iwth a G, but it says Z for the kit only. so just make sure...its about 700-800

I like the Zex kit, b/c it has a bottle pressure "thingamajig" that removes the need of a bottle warmer, it automatically reduces or increases nitrouse levels based on the pressure.

im doing a 2 bottle setup, one for nitrouse for a misly 50 shot for the low end
then another for intercooler spray but im going to run co2 in it instead.

I have read in the nitrous forums and somewhere it has been said nx solenoids were the best and that dynotune just pieces together parts from different companies. What happened with your dynotune solenoids? Someone should try to become a vendor for dynotune again, their prices were very good and it seemed like they had a very high satisfaction rate.

I have the Dynotune kit and love it; I havnt had any issues with it. If I did though, the customer service that Dynotune offers is second to none. Most people will say go with the NX or zex kit because that is what they know and they have been around the longest; they are great kits though. I went with Dynotune because I wanted a kit a high quality kit, like the NX/Zex, and I saved a few bucks.

edit 1: About the solenoids; the Dynotune solenoids are very similar to the NOS brand, but Dynotune made a few changes internally to them. As with any solenoid though, a thorough cleaning/inspecting every couple months is highly recommended.

edit 2: n20Z, Im in either Waco or Austin; LMK if you want to look at my setup. Ill give you a ride to help you decide

I bought a Dynotune nitrous solenoid to use for my purge.
The first one the sent leaked like crazy from the get go, they replaced it at no charge (after 2 phone calls). The replacement unit worked fine for about a year and then it started leaking (the seat was indented) I resurfaced the seat and it was fine again.

My NOS solenoid has been working for 3 years without any repair or problems.

We need someone to become a dynotune dealer again, lol. So is there any truth to the nx solenoid being really beefy and one of the better ones?
