Default nitrous install pics

just thought id post some pics of my nitrous install,(this forum needs some activity).

the kit is all dyno tune, thanks to rob fro great customer service and great pricing.

all the install work was done at car v2 in delaware, thanks a bunch to james, jay and jerry, sad to see you guys leave the community. you guys put a lot of extra hours into my car staying at the shop late (past my bedtime), just trying to figure this thing out and even fed me dinner! could not have aqsked for a better group of guys (shop) to handle this job. james did a greta job on a custom install and put everrything together just as i wanted it, making a flawless finished product.

unfortunately we had some problems with the utec and the spare solenoid and could not get it to fire while the car was on the dyno, so no tune and no numbers. the guys did get hooked up to the dyno at least three times though thanks again james and jerry you guys rock.

few more pics, have done some more work since the nitrous. sparco seats and harness bar and have a stoptech front kit getting ready to go on. plus a 3.9 gear and cusco lsd. car is a blast to drive.

i did manage to tune the car myself on the street with my utec, just need to get the car on the dyno to finish dialling in the tune and get some numbers will update.

the install was a decnt price considering the amount of work they had to do and the amount of the custom work(ie. copper purge line instead of the nylon hose the kit comes with, hiding the bottle, running the electronics for the a pillar).

the guys also straped the car to the dyno at least three times with no luck, to no faught of their own, and they still double checked and trouble shot the complete install. in the end it was a problem with the utec. james even worked hand in hand with jermaine from turbo xs to figure out the problem which took extra time.

overall if i had to do it again i would definately take the car back to car v2 and let james have at it, super clean work and great guys. if you decide to let them work on your car though you only have about 30 days and then they are closing to move to cali.

Looks Great!

That's about the same concealed set-up I did on mine last year.
Hardest part was finding the best place to hide the switches so no one could find them if they looked.
And fitting the control box, window switch, purge, and all the lines in the master cylinder compartment.

What Shot are you running?

75 shot for now untill i can get some dyno time and then ill bump up a 100 shot. i was amazed at how everyone said a 75 shot is safe with no tuning because my first run was to see were everything was at. i data logged a stock pull and my a/f was all over the place as high as 14.8 and as low as 10, obviously causing some knock. might of had some thing to do with my other mods though.

Hey Chefrey, your car looks great. I passed you the other morning on your way to work. Did you rev at me? J/K

Glad you like the install. You should see our new shop sometime late summer/fall this year. Thanks for your business and the compliments.

thanks jerry, i have allready had alot of fun with it, tuning it was a blast buy itself. feeling the shot get stronger with the propper timing and a/f is a unique experience that i learned a lot from.

i attempted a couple of track runs at cecil county but as weelman1 nows there is no suck thing as traction off the line with juice, i need a set of them m/t's you guys were running to help me out. let me know when you guys head down again ill see if i can make it with some dr's.
