Wideband A/F from dynotune
Anybody use this or have anything to say about it? I have the lean shut down switch, but this would be a nice addition.
LC-1 Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio system for Autometer!
Its finally here! A wideband controller that will turn your current Autometer air/fuel ratio gauge into a real wideband gauge. Simple installation, comes with everything you need for a complete installation (wideband controller, wideband o2 sensor, cables, bungs etc..). No laptop needed! This Wideband controller comes pre-programmed to work right out of the box.
NOTE: The digital display in the center is for demo only - the actual Autometer gauge will not have this feature!

I have the lc-1, its a sweet unit. I have the square display and also have it hooked up to my nitrous controller, except that I have to change the output setting on output 1 so that my controller can read it. You have a dynotune lean shut down switch? What are you getting your readings from, are you an <04.5? If you ever want to change the settings of the lc-1, you need to order a usb to serial, since they only send it with a serial cable, and almost all new laptops do not use serial.
I have the LC-1, also. My nitrous is kind of messed up at the moment, so I haven't sprayed since I installed the AFR. It works fine when I'm just driving around (N/A), though.
You need the Serial to USB (NOT USB to serial). I ordered a random one from eBay and it works fine. Just make sure they come with drivers or you can find a driver online.

My bad, lol. I really hope I bought the right cable then, oh well, they are only like, a dollar on ebay anyways. I don't think anyone would sell a usb to serial anyways nowadays, who would actually need one, lol.
I'll try to take a picture of my lc-1 dynotune gauge next time, I just tell people its a clock, lol.

I must've messed up on the wiring or something while trying to wire up my AFR. My AFR works, but now my nitrous set up doesn't. All I did was extend the wires and relocate the gauges.
I'll be taking it to a shop to troubleshoot when I get my car back from the body shop (got sideswiped by some kid who then fled the accident scene).
