turbos are expensive bro which you should already know with a precision 6265. my dbb 6765 alone is $2500, the ~7k i paid for a stainless fuel swirl pot, stainless oil catch can, turbo kit with a massive intercooler, stainless steel 3 inch exhuast from turbo back, real hks ssqv3, tial bov, exe oil pump, stainless feed and return lines................. yah was a pretty damn good deal when all things are considered. most of the turbo kits for this platform cost what they do because of twin turbos. the single turbo kits are significantly cheaper.

yes I know turbos are expensive...I think this got blown out of proportion. I never said I can piece a whole kit together for less than a grand. I said I already had some things laying around....LIKE bb 6765, tial qr, tial mvs and some other things. Intercooler piping, intercooler, exhaust piping, flanges and fittings can be bought for around a g. We can take care of the fab work. Never said I can build a whole kit for under a thousand.

More focused on wheels Now. Thanks for input
Peace!

Well, either way, since you have some pieces lying around and the rest can be had for around a grand, why not just boost it? Why spend the same amount or more on putting together a nitrous system? Just curious.

The turbo was originally going on one of my gti's but I think a bb 6765 would be alot better on the z. I love the performance of the z and a turbo in my opinion would compliment the motor nicely. Especially at my high elevation

Ok so I found the controller I'm gonna use. After remembering n2mb makes a nitrous controller add on, it was a no brainer. This will be what i use on the z.
Launch control, flat shifting and nitrous control all in one sounds great to me. I'll be able to set the Tps and rpm to when I want to spray. I'll
Have to give Jon a call to see what all can be done. I heard rumors of the new software having progressive control....

I've already wired one up in my Gti and had great success with it .
