Default Largest nitrous shot on built DE?

So as far as what info is currently out there it seems like the person pushing the largest nitrous shot currently is 2bad240.

Was wondering if anyone has pushed >150 shot on a 11:1 built DE and what the safe max is with a proper tune? I assume it would need to be direct port since >150 the single nozzle may have fuel pooling issues and uneven distribution throughout the cylinders.

I am currently collecting parts to complete the engine build, but if I can get a good amount of power out of nitrous and it is worth investing into(can use it as a supplement to FI later), I would like to prepurchase the bottles for mounting when I redo my trunk(fiberglass work). FI will come later, but I am taking my time with the process to do a proper build first with no shortcuts.

I have seen other pics of direct port setups but havent seen any specified above 150.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It should all depend on the fuel and tune. I would think as long as the rods and pistons are forged you will be fine.

You will have to go direct port. If you were going FI in the future and just using nitrous to hold you off until then, I don't think you need to go that high.

Doing a nozzle install is fast, simple, and relatively cheap. If you take a look at the following threads, you can typically see what people were running:

I am currently running 57N/26F jets, no tuning, no timing retard, just w/m injection.
