I just used a normal relay. I think MSD is just trying to sell us a "special relay".

He said nobody ever let him know if the modifications they made worked. I have #8956 my understanding is they just need to modify the voltage and it will work. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!
They (MSD) are so full of ****. I replied and told them several times after getting mine up and running a year ago. I did almost all the footwork explaining how it would work and providing information for them. They must not communicate internally worth a ****.

So if you're using the MSD window switch, there's no need for a WOT switch correct ?

No, you still need a WOT so you won't spray @ half throttle. You could be @ 4k rpm's and not be @ full throttle. Your window switch would be open but ithe WOT will keep it from spraying until you step on it

That makes sense

What kit do you have ? If it's NOS, do you know the part # on the kit ?

I have a Nitrous Express kit, part 20923. The kit is sitting in my room and I'm waiting on MSD to send my window switch back to me.

The saga continues,,,I talked with Rubin at MSD and was told that both versions would need to be modified. Sent my DAS unit in and got it back Friday,Still does not work. I don't think they did anything to this unit but just put it in a box and sent it back to me. On the back of the unit, it does not look like the case was opened, you can tell the original double sided tap is still in place. Unless they can flash these things through the rmp module port, it looks like they did nothing

...Rubin now says(3/23/04) that 8956-1 is just a modified 8956...He said that the -1 unit will work out of the box on these cars and that they just "calibrated" my unit but it still does not work, Damnit...Did anyone talk with someone about the "Help Desk" techs about this issues...
