Question NOS: Window Switch vs WOT trigger

I just ordered the Edelbrock NOS kit for the Z.

Anyone else try this yet?

I just might be the first to try it and report about it here.

I figure I might as well try it and see what happens. If I can get 100+ horsepower and 100+ torque for $630....what the heck.

They call it a dry kit, but it comes with a ECU add-on that adds more fuel (via injectors) as needed.

I know that this involves risk, so I will dyno to make sure it works properly.

It is my understanding that this kit also monitors the ECU for WOT and then automatically applies the appropriate amount of NOS (AND FUEL!!).

I am wondering about the benefits and drawbacks of using the Edelbrocks ECU for WOT and boost verses using MSD's window switch ???

Has anyone here used both a gas pedel switch (applying NOS at WOT) and has also tried a window switch system? Can you comment about it ??

Good luck, make sure your duty cycle is not to the max or your next upgrade will be fuel pump and larger injectors. Let us know your experience. Do you plan to install the kit yourself?

When I receive the Edelbrock kit, I'll review the instructions. If the instructions are clear (and easy) I will install it myself.

I am wondering why there is not much dialog about nitrous and the 350Z on the my350z.com forum. Utilizing nitrous seems like an easy way to gain a lot of easy power.

I have both a WOT switch(on pedal) and MSD widow switch. works great. My foots acts as the trigger instead of the arming switch.

I will post updates under the thread: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=84677

Since it is titled EDELBROCK NITROUS KIT I think it will be easier to find.

Currently I am waiting for JEGS (automotive supplier that I ordered the kit from) to send it to me. They did not have it in stock so it was backordered.
