Depending on what your PSI in your tires is, you should let air out to help get more tire of the pavement.

i read a couple pages back someone said go up to about 40 to keep the tire from rolling on the sidewall

I guess it depends. I think it was Dave who told Dustin to lower his PSI, but I could be mistaken. I usually roll out there at 30-35 PSI and I get pretty good grip with no sidewall problems.
