holy crap. removing the shift **** is the hardest thing ive ever done in my entire life. tips anyone?

try to lock some vice grips on it. just wrap a towl around the leather shift boot lock the visegrips on really tight and turn. i just turned the hell outta mine and it came lose, but i read you can bend your shifter mount so becareful.

From what i read u need 2 vices one for the shaft and one for the ****. Dont want the shaft to twist. Dunno been awhile since i read bout it.

wrap a towel around the shift control lever. then clamp the vice onto the lever over the towel. then wrap a towel around the shift ****. then use a large crescent wrench or channel lock or vice grip on the shift **** over the towel (at the bottom of the ****).

+1 i had Scott, Bishoy, Ryan, and myself taking turns, turning my shift **** and it didnt budge. im taking it to nissan do this ********....

Some of them even come with extended studs. You don't have to buy them seperately.

ichiba spacers comes with extended studs, thats the only reason why i bought the ichiba spacers
