hmm ok, anyone know what my next step is?

i ordered something off ebay and the guy never shipped. i emailed him twice already and didnt get a response. so my question is, do i tell ebay or paypal? both? the money wasnt drawn from my credit card if that matters.

 

well if the money wasn't taken from your account then i wouldn't worry about it.

 

no, money was taken from the account. i was just saying that the money didnt come from my credit card so filing it with the credit card company isnt an option.

 

I think you need to file it with paypal.
But also go through ebay for scamming

BTW some of those ebay companies are shady and may eventually ship the item, but there is a time limit to file a dispute with paypal. I think something like 14 days.

 

ohhh then what account did it take it from? ur paypal account? if so, then file a dispute with paypal.

 

yea probably a bank account. Either way, paypal should work out as long as you are in the time frame.

thanks. i just filed it with paypal. i found out filing a dispute doesnt really do anything though. its pretty much an official place for you to argue it out while paypal keeps records of the messages you send back and fourth to each other. hope this guy comes through.

I almost missed my window to switch my warranty over and it still has about 60k miles and 2 years on it. They made an exception and tt got transferred today

 

notify ebay and paypal. I've had that happen to me before. On the item you bought did it say something about being protected by paypal or something, cause if it did then you will get your money back.(took me about 2 weeks before I got mines back). Good luck

 

when i clicked a link on ebay to report it, it sent me to the paypal dispute page.
