Looks like I need to make a catch can. I lost one of the bolts for the valve cover so I'm ordering one. I left an easy spot open to see if its leaking bad and will allow me to be a straight forward install instead of taking everything apart again. So far so good but its idling funny, guessing its leaking a little where the valve cover isn't bolted up at

I'm confused, what exactly did you do besides take everything apart?

 

Replaced the valve cover gaskets and RTV'd the tube seals. But you have to take all that off to get to the valve covers...

 

does it show that in these pics?
I'm guessing the difference is between a few of the valve cover shots?
did you clean the plenum up? thing gets pretty filthy

 

I didn't post pics of the crap cleaned up.

I cleaned the lower and upper plenum, and the valve covers. If you look close, you can see where oil is on the valve cover and I have one of oil where the spark plug is.
