The school was great though. It took like 3 hours but I finally beat the time that my instructor put up when he ran my car... Once...

I also learned that when the Z starts getting sideways and out of balance, continuing to push her only brings more imbalance and a lot of back end sliding.

I have never had so much fun in a car in one day. And the oddest thing is realizing that the cleanest, most "boring" runs draw the quickest times. Granted I loved the runs where the back end of stepping out at every other corner, but its even better when you find a way to stay at the straight edge of tire screeching with a few little hiccup slides and everything else being straight clockwork brake, turn, gas.

My last run of the day I was so pissed at myself until I heard my time. I believed I did everything right but I just felt I was doing it slow. Not as much tire screech happening. Car wasn't sliding too much. Had some instance where the back end came slightly around and I thought I was losing time waiting for it to settle itself while I set up for the next turn...

Ended up being the fastest time of the day for me. This is going to be a very fun addiction...
I had a great time. The instructors were ragging on the guys for not showing. This was an event that many people wanted to take part of. Those not showing kept those that would have showed up from being there. They weren't to happy about that.

I finally beat my instructors time. It took a little while and he only ran my car once. I got a lot better. I learned a few things today from Justin. I started out running a 49.xxx second run and then a 46.xxx second run. I was very happy with my times at the end of the day. My last few were 45.5xx, 45.13x, 44.1xx, 44.2xx.

I really wish I could have gone to the autox school, and hated that I signed up and couldn't attend.
For one thing it is a long drive, 80% chance of rain, headers had to be installed for next weekend, and I had an offer for some help.

I think I'll stop preregistering for events, just sucks having to drive 2 hours hoping it isn't full.

I feel bad that I didn't get the seat time for the school, but I do feel I had a legit excuse at least.

So much seat time it was ridiculous. The horrible rained sucked for about an hour but it turned out great. It's fun autoxing in the rain and water. You guys should've have been there.
I think I heard you car from my house, I only live 5 mins from there, and I was outside painting. I hope you had a good time.

I have components front and rear, mounted the tweeters in the rear strut cover facing front, sounds pretty good.
