Thanks for the comments on the flyer guys!
I put a call into the Orleans Levee board just incase so we don’t over step our boundaries with the lakefront area.. they said they don't see any problems with this at all. There is some damage to the picnic area structures from the storm so they are closed, but I figured we could find an open spot, claim it, pop up some grills.. and go at it.
I did ask however to have an official "ok". So someone is supposed to call me back.. but the guy on the phone said as long as nobody is actin like an a$$ we should be fine.
