Louisiana Z/Import cookout April 29th *Lakefront*
but man that car is nice, only disappointment really is no speedo on the multi-function display. other than that, loved the gauges, car does have a power difference, especially over mine it feels really good in the low end has lots of torque and has good top end. noticeably smaller and shorter but surprisingly more spacious inside the cabin. everything feels very solid too, no rattles, feels stiffer than the older cars stock but rides really good. the seat headrests are kinda weird look oversized and almost cartoonish, lol. interior is absolutely amazing, night and day over the 350z, you get in and it feels like a 30k car. headlights and tails look great too and nice to see that little light near the exhaust in the middle of the bumper is blacked out from the factory +1
. cant say enough about the keyless system, its freakin awesome.
dude you had the biggest smile on your face when you pulled up......u was like dis

I can't wait to get a test drive. There's only one in Shreveport & it's an automatic.
from what i could tell, i honestly dont think i could tell the difference in manual transmissions between the 370 and the 009 trannys. when mine heats up its just as smooth. although there prob is a slight improvement, shifts are shorter as well
Dunno if this is old new and has been seen by all already BUT it made me giggle.....
So I've been researching through countless of threads and everyone generally leans towards keeping a stock air-box with a K&N drop in... Right... I needed to change it up a bit; perfectly summed up in this term...
"Home Depot Racing"
And before I get tons of criticism. a little about myself. i work part-time, go to a cal state full-time and pay all of my bills on my own behalf.... so please don't chew my a$$ up, for the lack of mutual respect i owe my car =]
I had no cash to stab a whole in my front bumper so i decided to find out how to re-route air from outside the car into my stock air-box....
Long Story short... i got an air-duct + aluminum tape to drive air into the box..
CHECK IT!

It looks ghetto.... but low end i feel a difference.... AND NO ITS NOT PERMANENT.
Lemme know what you think....
