A nice low profile car jack is easy. I got a good one for 125$ from orielly's. As for cordless impact gun usually the more volts the better but i use a air compressor for my impact.
BTW for those going to midnight madness tonight it is 10$ to spectate or 20 to run. So u might as well pay the extra 10 in case u want to make a run or 2 later that night.

Check Home Depot, my guys really like the Ryobi. They use them here at the shop, and they last. I would look at nothing less then 18 volts.
You can get a low aluminum jack at harbor freight for about $80.
We have a couple at the shop from Harbor Freight, and we use them daily. Bang for the buck, they are pretty good, and they offer extended warranty on them for a good price.

The cheap ones (<$100) will last your about a year or two depending on how often you use it. I use mine a couple times a month switching wheels for autocrosses. The biggest problem is battery life and the ability to hold a charge. You have to buy the high dollar ones (Dewalt, Milwalkee) if you want something you're going to use a lot and you expect to last a long time. If you watch, you can find one on sale for $200, normally they're in the over-$200 range.
I ultimately found a Craftsman air powered impact wrench for $20 (50% off sale FTW) and it's been working great for removing lug nuts.
In addition to the Harbor Freight jack, there's a Craftsman low alum. jack that you can catch on sale for around $150. The $80 HF jack is good buth they have a better one for around $120. Like anything else, it all depends on how often you use it and how hard you abuse it.
