if a cop sees you have a radar detector he will write you the ticket no matter what, like if he was planning on giving you a warning. the douchebag cop that pulled me over wrote on the ticket that i had a radar detector so that it would be harder to get out of or something. i'm not sure.

oh and in spain... the cops have radar detector detectors. lol. i went there a few years ago and everytime we'd come near a cop my exboyfriend's uncle would unplug it because he could get in trouble having it.

i was watching a video of a product called VEIL. . .it's a coating that is brushed onto reflective surfaces that the laser guns like to aim at and is easiest to get a reading from, in some videos, depending on the car the Stalker LZ1 radar gun which is the best out on the market right now that police are using clocked cars at speeds and distance of more than 2300ft. . .but with the VEIL the radar would only pick up a reading at around 270ft or less. . .not bad, gives you time to slow down before they pick up a speed, but they say it's useless unless you have a good radar detector to alert you of radar spots. . .ever heard of VEIL?

Dunno but he got me pretty good ways away because I am really good at spotting cops and I saw him a good ways away and slowed down real fast and he hit his lights on before I was even close.

 

So the radar detector who have detected his radar gun before I even seen him up the spillway more than likely?

Bleh I don't want to waste money on a radar detector. I just stay within 5 mph within the limit. Not worth it to risk a ticket to save like 5 mins. Knowing my luck I'd get busted on tint and exhaust and what ever else they could find wrong
