It's because you have a loose caboose.

mustang beat you? come on now
The setup I would like I do not have the funds for. I'll probably just end up getting another set of 245/40/17's. Hopefully a more auto-x oriented compound then what I've been racing on.

Only 0.5 sec behind a 350+whp Mustang with 275mm V710's all around isn't bad. Also considering he beat me by an average of 2 seconds at each event last year.

Yeah, I liked his intensity. He came into the shop today, and said that he is going to go through rehab, and hopefully be back next year. He did say, that most people don't ever fully recover from that kind of injury.

Greg Moore ran close to that on an ama prep'd GSXR 1000 a few years ago. He eventually hit the wall and destroyed his race career a few laps later. I would love to see someone out there running that fast in person.

A few weekends ago Greg, Chris, Dave, and myself went to the charity race they had. Some cars were running 1:17's and they seemed to be absolutely flying.

Why dont you just stay on your street tires and save for what you want? Your wanting wider rims also eh?
