Well I installed my popcharger after work yesterday. First impression was "Wow, I can't be I waited so long to do this. It's like an instant 100hp. Imagine this with 150 shot." Okay, so I'm lying. On a serious note, I may have gain a little but it's so hard to tell when you gain power so minor. I do think I gain a little though. It looks so much better than the stock box. I went for a ride after installing it. It was at about 7:30ish last night so it was kinda cool out, much cooler than noon. It sounds great to me. There's a little deeper sound and a whistle in the lower rpms. It produces a louder, deeper sound when getting into the higher rpms. Overall, I'm pleased with it. We'll have to wait and see if I have actual gains from this or not on the dyno. I want fuction over form so if I lose power, I will be putting back on the stock box. Here are some pics.

What other engine? Are you purchasing another engine?

as a matter of fact yeah.. lol

a 05 non-revup is sitting in my buddies shop.. 6k miles on it.. gonna buy it and put it in storage that way if i ever decide to go FI or spray, i have a backup...

I am getting rid of my intake due to heatsoak. gonna replace it with a stillen intake. Bradley wants my K&N setup and is gonna fab something together to work with this stock air box but needed an extra MAF housing for the flange. So when i get that other engine i was gonna give him the housing.

So he wants to use the intake tube that you have and connect it to his stock air box? Why? Isn't the stock tube good enough?
