yeah, i used that one as well "magic clay bar"... and mine def smiled back...
oh, and on another note.. NEVER use rain-x.. or atleast know that you want to use it.. because if you change your mind.. its gonna be a B to take off
a 3rd of my day today was spent driving around trying to find a product that nobody had to remove that crap.. and in the end, 409, windex, water, soap, fantastik, tilex, and even rubbing alcohol would not take this stuff off.. I had to use that Goop be gone stuff and finally it came off.. next step was gonna be thinner... and i was not looking forward to that if I had too...

It didn't take me too long to clay my car... that was my first time using Clay Magic on the whole car and damn it went a lot faster than planned.
I'll be doing a three stage wax tomorrow morning so hopefully I wake up early enough.
My roommate polished my headlights and a little bit of my hood with his Porter Cable. Damn that chit works!

ya I got a porter cable and been using it for 3 or so years now. I won't use anything else now. Its takes me less time to wax then it does to wash my car and thats even taking the wax off by hand
Day started out in the Target Parking lot.. only a few Zs turned into several... I wasn't fast enough to get a pic of the GT-40 that went by on Vets, or the Galardo by Causeway
!!
All in All the event was very very huge and more than just a Z-meet... this is a couple views on top of the levee looking over the lake.

Too many Zs for one pic... Lee your car sounds ****ing Crazy!!

Nostalgic view!!

Enjoy... I hope you guys (and gals) had fun and put on plenty of sunscreen.
Peace
Drew

Great Turnout!!! Great Time!!! Great Day to be back at the Lakefront!!!
The first four pics are a panaromic view of the parking area when we first arrived and got setup. By the time I left, the whole parking lot was filled with cars. The Zs got good representation from the BTR and NO areas. There were a lot of RX7/RX8 cars as well as Scions.

These are some of the Zs that made it. At one time, I counted over 20 and with people coming and going all afternoon, I'd estimate between 25 and 30 Zs were there.

Thanks to Will for organizing this and to Greg for getting the BTR group together. Thanks to all the rest of you guys and girls that worked to put this together and for bringing your Zs out. It was nice to put a face and real name with the screen names that I see here regularly.
I have to admit, I love and hate events like this. I love them for all the different Zs, parts and mods I get to see. I hate them because I saw some stuff I HAVE to have now.
Dave

it was also awesome to put faces to names as well.. Glad everyone made it out... I did NOT put on sunscreen and I am sure I will be hurting tomorrow, but all in all, it was worth it.
And thanks Dave but the credit goes to more than just me... i simply made the flyer but others here helped make this happen just as much as me. We def need to do this more often.. but next time, we need some shade!
pictures to come in a few!
*DK ... lol
