if ur gonna still autox u should look into getting the vortech...i'm considering it right now but i still want the pshhhh sound from the twins

i was trolling youtube last night lookin at vortech vids. its pretty nice actually, i dont want over 450whp really. any more than that is just un practical and really shrinks the reliability of the motor. vortech has its problems as well, but i do like the design and the safety that it has on the motor.

 

but its not the same pshhhhhh

Im thinking bout going twins myself. Just trying to decide if i wanna do it myself or send it out to get done.

 

Just you know how it is. You get one thing stuck in your mind, but rationality and reason takes over and you get another. Then you regret it and so on and so on. It can turn into a giant money pit if you let it. I say get what you want and call it a day. If you are wanting to Autox for your hobby, you can buy a first gen Miaita or something for 3k and just Autox that. I may be speaking out of my *** as i know little to nothing about the event. I guess in the end i would do what i would enjoy the most the largest amount of time.

 

If you want mods for autox, I'd focus a lot more on seat time.

 

hit the nail on the head there greg. im really not even gonna do any kind of FI for awhile. i may start getting some thing together for an eventual build, but nothing soon. i dont have the 20k+ it takes to do it properly. my next mods are pretty much camber and toe arms in the rear, a-arms in the front and what i really need, LSD. i think im actually not gonna touch the motor for some time. i like it the way it currently is.

 

Soungs like a good plan. I kinda wish i would have gotten a aftermarket lsd instead of the enthusiast model.
