I'm planning on Sunday May 11th going up to the Bogue Chitto to go tubing all day. If anybody is interested let me know. 15+ people and we can get a group rate.

 

That's Mothers day, I will have to check with the wife, and see if she wants to go.

 

Where is Bogue Chitto?

 

north east of covington.....I forgot it was mother's day truthfully. My parents live in florida and I have work saturday until 7 and then monday at 7:30 in the morning so I'm not driving there and back

Tubing trips FTW!! My parents live 20 min from the Bogue Chitto. I never remember getting out of the water on those trips. Just be careful because they are getting much more strict about dui's. We used to try to go on weekdays in the summer.

Also, you may want to check out tiki tubing near BR, it may be easier to get a crew together

Tiki's river is too shallow, and you either walk, or bottom out most of the time.

 

Plus me and the rope that you swing off of on the high bank never got along. Well at least coming off of it hitting the water or whatever else I hit

 

I agree, I just figured Tiki might be a little easier to get a group together. I thought ya'll would have people coming from Laffy, etc.

Last time I brought some friends to Bogue Chitto from Laffy we were all wasted before the tubing even started
