I brought my car to Ray Brandt and said look I need a new clutch is it covered under my used car warranty....they said not sure but we will find out for you. They call me back and say yulp you need a new clutch and it is not covered and it will be 2k to replace. They also added the "fuel injector service" lol and my battery died while there? Wtf......anyhow I said screw that I can get an aftermarket clutch/flywheel and get it installed for right at 1k. SO i went to pick it up and they try to charge me for taking a look at it...about 80 bucks!!! Something that was never even told to me and I also told them what was wrong with it. *******s....so my mom had dropped me off and got all pissed off and I didnt have to pay anything. She works at a dealership and schooled him apparently...

anyways update...

i went back and told them there were crazy for tryin to sell me that car for 30...they went down to 27k when i told them i want my car back.. they printed out a report and all and they had my trade in at 20k!!!! yea they wanted to give me 20k for my lexus i just paid 28k for 2 weeks ago..talk about depreciation??? oh yea...and wanted 3k down!

Just buy an aftermarket clutch and flywheel package and pay me to install it for you. I do it pretty cheap

 

Well I am glad you didn't get screwed, but are you still in search of a Z? I would go to Leblanc in Gonzales. I have heard really good things about there people.

 

This was last summer i believe lol....I bought JWT clutch flywheel and got it installed at ummm...i forget the name of the place but its under some big bridge lol....my mind draws a blank. Lance prob knows the name.....guys over there were really kool though, deff would go back!

 

Although it's been said before, 30K for a base is crazy right now. I got my '08 enthusiast for under 30K and that was 10 months ago (and I kick myself for not fighting to get another 1K off).

With the 370 at dealers... yeah...

 

08 base, pay 23 grand, nothing over that. seriously.

 

I went by Greg Leblanc Nissan here in Houma last night to see the 370Z. I really like it. Huge upgrade in interior. It was a base and the sticker was $31,000. I wouldn't pay anymore than 25k for a 08 base right now.
