We can openly complain and call out the team for not playing well, and still believe that they will be ok.

It's funny that the so called "die-hard Saints fans" always have the need to call out ANYONE that's slightly critical of the Saints play, and call them bandwagoners.

i was actaully talking about dave saying his new years resolution was to stop watching the saints.....and yes, there are alot of bandwagon fans....the only time they would watch the saints are when we're winning.....i know alot of ppl who just started watching the saints this year because of their undefeated record and since they lost these 2 games u should see my facebook and all the ppl saying they hate the saints, calling them the "aints" again....so i say screw all of u

 

i'm game to anybody who wanna talk football but all of these wannabe fans who are quick to jump off the wagon then please do

i've been watching the saints as long as i remember.....through the horrible yrs to the dome patrol to crappy aaron brooks/haslett era and now the brees/payton era....i love my saints...WIN or lose

The only season I specifically remember not watching was 2005 when Katrina hit because it was clear that football was the last thing on their or anyone's mind at that point

2006-present, you're simply blind to think this team has ANYTHING to do with 2005 and before.

 

As far as that goes, I 100% agree with you. Phuk the people that only like them, when they are winning. As I said, I was pissed that they lost, and I was bagging on them for that. But I have been going to the games for 10 years now, and we all know how they've done in the past. I was at the game, when they gave Cleveland their first win on Halloween night, after Cleveland started 0-6...

I have also. Grew up as a kid with access to season tickets in the suites, and can remember going as a child. I basically learned the game of football by watching it on tv and in The Dome with my dad and his friends. I remember sneaking out of some school function I had in 6th grade with my dad to sit in the car and listen to the drat the year they got Danny W. But let's not turn this into a pissing match about who's the bigger fan.

The minute I start saying, "Saints played like **** today. If they want to advance in the playoffs, they better quit playing like teams of old," people jump up and say, "Fine, get off the bandwagon, we don't need you." And that's just complete ignorance.

And there's nothing wrong with that at all. The team plays bad, criticize them for it. That doesn't make us badnwagon fans.
