What up everyone.

90k is not many miles on a diesel. It's just breaking in around that. Diesels easily run 2, 3, even 400,000 miles. I've seen a few running in the 400k range before being rebuilt. I do know the 6.0L engines have problems with the head bolts cracking which cause them to overheat and crack the heads. Simple fix though. Just install aftermarket head bolts and good to go. I would remove the egr system too. After that the 6.0L is a beast. The fuel mileage isn't bad as long as you keep your foot out of the floor. I have a 2001 with the 7.3L and I get about 15 in town and about 20-22 hwy. I don't lay into it though. Tank lasts me a few weeks around town.

My poor Z is just getting beat the hell up. I need to get a DD when I move so I can get it fixed. It's pointless of fixing it as a DD.

+1 on diesels lasting a long time.
